Time in Pennsylvania

A few days with my Pennsylvania friends, amazing food , and glorious Christmas decorations, boosted my spirits to a 10 plus, mentally, physically and spiritually. It's like being filled up with gratitude and inspiration. It's my home away from home.

My friend has the largest Pipka collection in the country and displays the Santas as though they are in Macy's window, each vignette telling a story. This year he's added a Krumpus, a frightening figure in folk lore who comes out at Christmas time, symbolic of the pull between good and evil.

Slovakian friends cooked authentic Slovak food that would be served at Christmas time. On my last day I met with my bestie, Denise, and we enjoyed a long lunch together at a local restaurant while making plans to get together again and create art together. Life is good.
